List of personal information (PI) collected

We do not trade, sell, rent or lease your personal information.

For example, we do not disclose your personal information to external third parties other than our funders, for whom access to this information is necessary:

  • To establish your eligibility for government services
  • To monitor your progress and provide you with the best possible service
  • To request access to other services
  • To produce statistical portraits
  • For project reporting purposes

We will only disclose information that is reasonably necessary to enable them to perform their duties.

We may also pass on your personal information to trusted third parties, including :

  • To government authorities and agencies when required by applicable law
  • To an organization mandated by law to prevent, detect or repress crimes or infringements of the law, when this is required in the performance of its duties, and if the information is essential for the prosecution of an offense under a law applicable in Quebec, among others.

Intended use of personal information

We use your personal information exclusively for the purposes for which it was collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws including, but not limited to, to:

  • Support you in your career, employment, volunteer involvement or mandate
  • Send you information or other information (such as job offers, appointment confirmations or money transfers in connection with a signed contract) or events relating to our services.
  • Maintain and improve our services
  • Enable reporting to governments and funders. This includes collecting information as part of reports to produce statistical portraits. These data collection reports do not include any personal information.
  • Responding to legally binding requests from law enforcement, regulatory authorities or other third parties, and complying with applicable laws.

Within our organization, only those individuals who need access to your personal information to perform their duties may do so.

In order to provide you with the products and services you have requested from us, we may share your personal information with trusted governmental third parties, where necessary.

Cookies and analysis

Our websites use cookies and/or similar technologies. Cookies are pieces of information that are sent by the server to the browser when the user visits a Web site, and that can be retrieved by the server on subsequent visits. They enable the server to recognize you more easily. Here is a brief list of the elements collected:

We limit the collection of your personal information to what is necessary to establish, manage and maintain our relationship with you. For example, the information we collect is used to assess your eligibility, to follow up on your requests, to report to our funders, to share activities or job offers, and to respond to your questions, comments or suggestions.

Links to other sites

From time to time, our website may contain hyperlinks to other sites. Information exchanged on these sites is not subject to this Privacy Policy, but to those of the external sites concerned, if any. In such cases, we invite you to consult them before disclosing your personal information.

Retention periods

Your personal information will be retained only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Conditions of access, rectification and withdrawal

Once we have properly identified you, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, as permitted or required by law. In some cases, a written request from you may be required.

If there are any changes to be made to your personal information, it is preferable to contact us promptly by telephone or e-mail in order to keep your file and our databases up to date.
